Community Managers/Editors

One of CDF's major pillars of strength comes from our consulting work in online community design and management. We need experienced community managers who can drive conversations with a large membership base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process large sets of information and find News relevant to the community - e.g. process 500 journals in 1 hour into 2-3 articles
  • Filter news or submissions and edit submissions according to the writing or expressive style
  • Analyze trends and day-to-day activities and create professional critique or analytical commentary
  • Engage the audience through interactive discourse
  • Create and Demonstrate thought leadership about a topic of interest
  • Create deep professional relationships with top-level influencers from the industry that our communities touch
  • Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelors level education
  • Ability to gain new perspectives of looking at a certain topic quickly - demonstrated rapid learning abilities
  • Verifiable experience in communication / debates necessary
  • Prior experience in editorial responsibilities necessary
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Verifiable experience in voluntary work
  • Public dealing / Relationship building skills will be given high credence
  • Verifiable qualifications or prior experience in mass communications will be required
